Pope Francis, St. Mathews Cathedral, and The ESOP Association
If you feel you have a reason to contact The ESOP Association directly on Wednesday, September 23, please note below. If not, no need to read further.
The ESOP Association’s office in D.C. is on the same block as St. Mathews Cathedral — most famous as the site of President Kennedy’s funeral service.
On Wednesday, Pope Francis will be meeting with Church leaders and there is great concern about his security while in the U.S. The street where the Association’s office building is located will be blocked throughout the working day. Access via automobile to parking will not be possible; reports from police authorities and public transportation leaders indicate subway service will be problematic.
THUS, The ESOP Association’s office will be closed all day Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
If you need to speak directly to someone at the Association, or need a response to a fax, or handling of an overnight delivery, it will not be possible on the 23rd. Emails will be tended to if possible.
The most common direct contact to the Association this week will be inquiry about registration for the 2015 Las Vegas Conference and Trade Show. Please be sure inquiries on any topic will be handled as soon as possible after the 23rd.
